What To Expect From PRP Treatments
During the PRP treatment, we will take a small amount of blood from your arm and process it within a centrifuge. The processed solution is then 'injected' into the area to be treated using microneedling where a series of tiny pinprick holes puncture the skin. The procedure takes an hour and you can expect to see results after 2-4 weeks. After treatment, you may experience a tingling sensation and some redness as a result of the pinpricks. This usually disappears after a few hours.
